Casting to Chromecast, Fire TV, Roku, and Smart TV

  1. Make sure you're connected to the same Wi-Fi network on both the casting device and your phone.
  2. Make sure you've set up the device as per the manufacturer's instructions.
  3. If you're successfully connecting to your casting device via other apps but not able to connect via Playbook, please contact us at support@playbookapp.io, so we can resolve the issue. Make sure to include information about the brand and version of your TV stick or Smart TV.

Note: We currently don't support casting to Samsung Smart TV. To cast to Samsung Smart TV, open your browser on TV and use cast2web. Alternative: cast workout to your laptop browser and connect to your Samsung TV with an HDMI cable.

NOTE:

Please make sure to enable the Local Network on your device. You will find that option under the Settings section.
