Why was I charged before my 7-day free trial was over?

Sometimes you lose track of when you initiated the 7-day trial period, sometimes there are hiccups with billing from the App Store. This is extremely frustrating on our end too -- we actually have zero control over subscriptions as Apple (and Google) manages all payments & refunds for in-app purchases (recall you entered your Apple ID to purchase the subscription). Apple charges you if you don't cancel within the 7-day free trial period. With that said, you can easily request a refund:

Step 1:

To reverse the charges, first ensure the subscription is canceled: See our guide on how to cancel: https://www.playbookapp.io/cancel-subscription or Apple's guide: https://support.apple.com/en-us/ht202039 (Please be sure to do this otherwise Apple will continue to charge you).

Step 2:

You can request a refund here: https://reportaproblem.apple.com (we will approve on our end). Detailed instructions for this step can be found here.
